What size pumps should I choose?

You can determine the right size for Floris van Bommel pumps using our size guide and sizing advice video. Our women's shoes generally fit true to size. We use the European (EU) shoe sizing system for women's shoes, with full and half sizes from 35 to 42. This provides a highly accurate range of fits. If you usually wear the same size in leather pumps from other brands, choose that same size. If you are between two sizes or have wider feet, we recommend choosing the larger size for extra comfort.

Are pumps suitable for orthotic insoles?

No, pumps are not suitable for orthotic insoles. Other flat Floris van Bommel shoes with removable footbeds are suitable for orthotic insoles. Use our ‘removable footbed’ filter to find all women's shoes that are suitable for orthotic insoles.

How do you care for suede and leather pumps?

Before wearing suede and leather pumps, we recommend treating them with a water- and dirt-repellent spray such as Carbon Pro by Collonil. Applying this regularly helps prevent dirt and moisture from penetrating the material, allowing you to enjoy your shoes for longer.

How are Floris van Bommel pumps made?

Floris van Bommel pumps are produced using the Ago construction method. The upper leather is pulled over the last and secured with adhesive underneath the insole. A small amount of cork is applied underneath the foot to provide optimal support. The pre-finished outsole is then attached to the insole using adhesive.
