Floris about this item:

“Sneaker soles are getting fuller and thicker. First I thought it was just a little crazy and if anything, only something for very young people that chase every trend. But if you see it often enough you get used to it and end up liking the look. And the trend doesn’t really slow down, it’s actually still growing… So we got to work to find out what would happen if we made a (literally) fat sneaker ourselves. It was hard work and lots of tinkering, but it worked! Our very own version of the “bulky sneaker”… If you only see the picture, it may seem a bit heavy, but once you’re wearing it, it looks “sharp as a knife”. To check if the shoe is ready to wear and if the fit is good, I wore it myself for a while. Turns out that it’s a magnet for compliments! All in all, this is a nice and trendy, but not exaggerated, sneaker.”
