Product details

This is a refined shoe with a comfortable G-width last. The sole is stitched to the upper using the Blake construction method. It is made from durable TPU material and features a subtle anti-slip structure. The luxurious calf leather lining ensures optimal wearing comfort. While the shoe does not have a fully removable footbed, it is fitted with a comfortable foam layer underneath the entire foot. The upper is crafted from patent leather with a speckled metallic effect, finished with an embossed fantasy print.

For men’s shoes, Floris van Bommel uses the English (UK) shoe size system in whole and half sizes (5 to 13½). This allows for a very accurate fitting range. The two tables below show how the UK sizes relate to EU sizes and centimetres. In the video, we show you how to measure your feet correctly.

"Underneath this sole is a drawing of a man who refuses to walk. And for good reason! The last time I refused to walk was during a competition with colleagues. It was about who could wait the longest before boarding a flight to a trade fair in Italy. In the end, everyone was already on the plane and only my colleague Paul and I were still standing at the bottom of the aircraft steps. Paul stood there somewhat uncomfortably, smiling and looking around. I upped the ante, staring down and not responding to anything. Paul couldn't handle the pressure from the stewardess. He gave in. That's how I got out of having to step into the ring during a clown act at the circus once. The spotlight stayed on me, the clown waved me over and blew his funny whistle. I looked down and didn't react until it was someone else's turn. That man was hoisted up to the top of the circus tent, while a banner with the word “break” rolled out from under the chair he was sitting in. And the moral of the story: Only walk if you feel like it!"
