Product details

This is a dress shoe with a comfortable G last. Following the Blake method, the sole is sewn through to the upper. The sole is made of durable TPU material with a slight non-slip surface. The luxurious calf leather lining provides optimal wearing comfort. This shoe does not have a fully removable footbed but comes with a comfortable foam layer that runs under the entire foot. The boot is made of grey patent leather.

For men’s shoes, Floris van Bommel uses the English (UK) shoe size system in whole and half sizes (5 to 13½). This allows for a very accurate fitting range. The two tables below show how the UK sizes relate to EU sizes and centimetres. In the video, we show you how to measure your feet correctly.

“I think there’s a direct link between my fascination for stuffing my face with pizza and the way we design our soles. The following applies to shoes and pizzas alike: If you don’t put enough love into the bottom, all you get is just a sad piece of dough. Or, in this case, leather, of course. That’s why we always take a lot of time to come up with different sole designs. And it gives me a good excuse to talk about pizza again! By now, I’ve been talking about pizza so much while we’re busy designing soles that my colleagues probably had enough of it. As a surprise, they made me this sole. This was so unexpected that I wrote a poem dedicated to this sole: Not planned, but all the more desired. Unexpectedly, a miracle is underway, And nature takes its course. For a moment we had to get used to the thought, But now we can’t wait to meet you.” As a play on words, we’ve added the slogan ‘The Flooris Pizza’ to the sole. A variation on ‘The floor is lava’, by the way. But it’s really about the pizza.”
