Product details

This is De Hakker, a refined boot set on a casual sole made from flexible and durable TPU material. The interior is finished with high-quality black calf leather lining and features a removable footbed, which can be replaced with a custom insole or orthotic if desired. At the back of the heel, a small label in the same colour as the shoe is applied, featuring a bright blue suede underlay with a subtle visible accent. The label is finished with a Floris van Bommel logo in the shape of the letter “F”. The upper is crafted from dark blue suede sourced from a Tuscan tannery in Santa Croce sull’Arno. This boot is built on an H-width last, making it suitable for slightly wider feet.

For men’s shoes, Floris van Bommel uses the English (UK) shoe size system in whole and half sizes (5 to 13½). This allows for a very accurate fitting range. The two tables below show how the UK sizes relate to EU sizes and centimetres. In the video, we show you how to measure your feet correctly.

Anyway, to make the expense feel somewhat worthwhile, we crammed all of those fancy buzzwords into one single shoe. And here it is! It sits right in the sweet spot: not quite dressy, not entirely casual. Not loud, but definitely layered. The material is so tactile you can’t keep your hands off it. And to top it all off, it's completely fluid—which is just a fancy way of saying it'll work with pretty much any outfit. Well... almost any outfit. Pair it with a flowing guru robe and it might be a bit too hybrid after all.”
