"This is a comfy casual winter classic on a sturdy rubber threaded sole. The slim and rounded last makes it a truly stylish and decent shoe, rather than a rugged boot. It’s a simple classic model, which leaves a lot of room for error in the design process. The smallest mistake can whack this shoe out of balance. Therefore, we had to do a lot of tinkering. Once this boot was finished, I couldn’t help but give it a little extra love and attention. They love that. There they lie, comfortably in their box. I just let my mind wander and added a couple of little doodles to the profile of the classic commando sole. This profile was invented at the beginning of the 20th century by Vitale Bramani, founder of sole manufacturer Vibram. Throughout the years, I’ve often played with this theme. This time, as mentioned, it turned into a few simple doodles that mix things up just that little bit. I’ve tried to keep things low-key, but one of the angels in the choir around the toes should probably have gone easy on the beans..."
