Product details

This hand-crocheted mid-high slipper is made of olive green sheep's wool from New Zealand and bamboo. The outsole is made of supple cognac-coloured suede which is stitched to the woollen upper with a durable thread. The clever crochet pattern ensures that the slipper fits nicely around your foot while walking. The heel counter is adorned with a piece of suede featuring the Floris van Bommel logo.
Sizes: Due to the loose fit of the crocheted KOW slippers, like socks, two sizes correspond to one slipper size. Due to technical limitations of our online shop, only the even sizes are listed in our order module. If you have an odd shoe size, please choose the even shoe size that is one size smaller: the official sizing is as follows: 36= 36/37, 38= 38/39, 40= 40/41, 42= 42/43, 44= 44/45, 46= 46/47. The following countries are excluded from the temporary shipping promotion: Croatia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the USA.

"Every autumn, but sometimes in summer as well, I browse the entire internet looking for the perfect slipper. I've tried everything. Expensive, cheap, old-school German brands to those fluffy 100% wool ones. During my hunt for slippers in the spring of 2020 I came across 'Kingdom of Wow!'. A Dutch fair trade slipper and espadrille brand with manufacturing in Cambodia. After ordering a pair, I got in touch with Godie, the owner. She asked me how I felt about the slippers. I told her about my slipper obsession and how my pair of KOW's got as close to perfection as I could imagine. Fast forward to late 2020: here we go! What an honour... the 'Kingdom of Wow for Floris van Bommel' slipper! I wear them almost every night, and that's not marketing jumbo :). They fit perfectly, are exactly warm enough, loop around the heel comfortably, the suede insole is fantastic, and it's even bio-degradable while the producers in Cambodia earn fair wages."
