What is my size?

For men’s shoes, Floris van Bommel uses the English (UK) shoe size system in whole and half sizes (5 to 13½). This allows for a very accurate fitting range. The two tables below show how the UK sizes relate to EU sizes and centimetres. In the video, we show you how to measure your feet correctly.

Product details

The sneaker sole of “De Runner” is inspired by sport shoes from the 1980s. The sole is made of supple TR with a durable outsole. The stabiliser at the heel adds a sporty look while offering comfy heel support. The inside of the sneaker is finished with leather lining and a removable footbed which can be exchanged for your own footbed or insoles. This version comes in light grey suede. The side panel and vamp are finished with light grey textile in a felted look that matches the felt tongue label.

"In my youth, I remember that sports shoes were really only meant for sports. If you wore them to school, you were wearing them to exercise. Thirty years ago, sports shoes slowly developed into sneakers for daily use. Most of the sneaker styles we see in the streets today can’t be linked back to their sporty origins. With the development of this 'Runner' sneaker, we stayed very close to the shape of a typical functional sports shoe for a change. The sole is heavily based on the soles used for running shoes in the 1980s. Think of it as a kind of ‘Back to the Future’ for your feet."
