What is my size?

For men’s shoes, Floris van Bommel uses the English (UK) shoe size system in whole and half sizes (5 to 13½). This allows for a very accurate fitting range. The two tables below show how the UK sizes relate to EU sizes and centimetres. In the video, we show you how to measure your feet correctly.

Product details

This casual Chelsea boot features a taupe-coloured sole made from TR material. The slightly darker TR layer visible along the gum-coloured edge gives the sole a relaxed, casual look. The lining is made from premium calf leather in a soft beige tone. The comfortable footbed is removable and can be replaced with custom insoles or orthotics if desired. The upper is crafted from lightly oiled taupe suede sourced from a specialised Tuscan tannery in Santa Croce sull’Arno.

"As shoemakers, we are fortunate that the saying ‘cobbler, stick to your last’ is true of our profession. How convenient to have your own saying! This shoe is the direct result of this wisdom. We’ve been making this elegant men's shoe for over 300 years, and we have done so again here. But of course, it's a little different from everything else out there. With classic uppers, the sole is what determines the look. We took the shape of a boat shoe and turned it into a modern casual sole. The result: a lovely, beautifully formal, yet casual leisure shoe. Recently, I came across a saying about our colleagues in the clothing industry: ‘Kleermakers naaien hun klanten de zak’, which basically means ‘tailors charge too much for their services and rip off their customers.’ All considered, I'm really glad about our cobbler’s proverb."
