What is my size?

For men’s shoes, Floris van Bommel uses the English (UK) shoe size system in whole and half sizes (5 to 13½). This allows for a very accurate fitting range. The two tables below show how the UK sizes relate to EU sizes and centimetres. In the video, we show you how to measure your feet correctly.

Product details

This dressy boot has a sturdy rubber sole with a luxurious leather sole edge. The light profile of the outsole gives the boot a smart yet casual look. Inside, the boot is finished with premium black calf leather lining. The insole features a fully removable footbed that can be replaced with your own footbed or insoles if required. The boot has an H-last which offers a wide fit range with room for slightly wider feet too. At the back of the heel, the upper is finished with a rubber logo in the shape of the letter 'F'. The boot’s black-coloured printed suede has a casual touch. After the tanning process, it has been washed in the tanning drum and then finished with a stylish geometric print.

"This line is called De Normer because we wanted to make a nice and normal boot. No frills like thick soles, special lasts, or fancy details. Just a nice and easy basic boot that you can wear comfortably. For the outsole, we went with a commando profile. This is a classic profile that you can’t change too much, because it would no longer be the typical tread. The cubes of that profile always strike me like clouds on a beautiful summer day. You constantly keep seeing different things in them. And exactly that happened here again. I saw... clouds. Not really special, but when you add a drawing of our factory façade to it, it now looks as if little clouds are puffing out of our factory chimney, which are also the cubes of the commando profile. So there you go: It’s a nice and normal boot, but we put a lot of love into it nonetheless."
