How do you care for suede and leather lace-up shoes?

How are Floris van Bommel lace-up shoes made?

Most Floris van Bommel lace-up shoes are produced using either the Blake or Goodyear construction method. In both methods, the upper leather is pulled over the last. With Blake construction, it is secured with adhesive underneath the insole. With Goodyear construction, horizontal stitching attaches the upper leather to the welt and the rib.
