Floris: “Designing collections is like a breeding programme for shoes. For this shoe, we crossed two of our best and most beautiful sneakers. And then, of course, we jazzed it up and optimised it. I was really curious to see what the finished shoe would look like. Like when Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie had their first child. You know it's going to be beautiful, but you're still curious.”
The sole, which is voluminous at the heel, tapers towards the forefoot, giving the shoe a speedy, sporty look. The sole is made of very light Phylon material.
The outsole is adorned with the Floris van Bommel signature zig-zag line.
The sneaker is finished with premium leather lining and a removable footbed.
This version is made of stylish suede.
The design features various details including a black stabiliser with the Floris van Bommel logo, a rubber tongue label with logo.

Floris: "Whenever my grandfather heard something that he thought was strange, you’d hear this distinctive sound coming from under a cloud of Old Spice after shave: ‘PsssSssSsst’. Between his teeth, he’d make this hissing sound as a sign of disbelief. I think if he still worked at our production site, people would constantly think that somewhere a sprinkler just went off. Take these shoes, for instance, sneakers with a hiking boot closure. Definitely a ‘PsssSssSsst’-worthy pair of shoes."
The model features a hiking boot lacing and a double tongue. Instead of eyelets, the laces run through sporty hooks.
This version is made of supple nubuck leather. The nubuck leather has a fine relief print on the forefoot and side.
This version is made of suede, smooth leather and mesh. The textile side panels have a subtle camouflage effect.

Floris: “Who doesn’t like underdogs? Even in the design department we have to deal with this type. These are the shoes that we’ve often worked on the longest, that make us very happy, but struggle to make it into the final collection. They’re either too extravagant, too experimental or simply too exclusive. To be able to present these shoes nonetheless, we’ve created the premium collection. This model here is one of the shoes we’ve lost our designer hearts to. If you decide to buy them: cherish them!”
This version consists of a fresh winterly material and color combination.
Three different textiles are used for the upper: A two-tone mesh on the forefoot, a rougher green mesh on the tongue and a thin, crinkly parachute fabric on the side panels.
