“This is a brand new line for the summer. It is the style that we’ve spent the most time on throughout the past six months. Our designers were convinced we needed something like this and that it had to be really good. We’ve been tinkering endlessly. As far as we’re concerned, it is completely finished now. Now that they're out there, I’m really looking forward to seeing the shoes in the wild for the first time. I think it’s a bit like a nature conservationist who is for the first time releasing an almost extinct vole into the wild of the Biesbosch nature reserve. In the following weeks, he will look for it with his binoculars. Ooh! And here’s some inside information: Since this is the favourite of our design department, we’ve also upgraded the shoes on the inside: They come with a new type of butter-soft calf lining, a new type of super comfortable 'ortho PU' footbed and a new type of lightweight rubber outsole. It’s like walking on clouds!”
