Floris about this item:

“We always work on the “silhouette” of a sneaker for quite some time. The side view of a sneaker has become more and more important. I think that the internet plays an important role in this. In the past, shoes were only available in stores and you could always see them in 3D and from all angles. Now, it’s mostly “zap-boom” straight from the side. Until a few years ago, the instep of our sneaker was much more curved and the toe cap bulged out more. Nowadays, it’s all more straight. The top line of the sneaker runs all the way from the tongue to the tip of the toe cap in a low and fairly straight line. The toe cap only bulges out a tiny bit at the very front. The result: partly to the basic sole design, this understated sneaker has a super tight and super modern silhouette.”
