Floris about this item:

“This shoe came about thanks to the DIY store around the corner. At the electrics department I ran into coloured rolls of tape that electricians use to mark wires to keep them apart. In our design room we still had a rather sad-looking shoe. It was a nice model, with a good last and sole, but still a bit boring. With my brand new make-up stuff from the DIY store, we quickly found a solution. A narrow strip of red tape on the heel and a red profile on the front turned out to be the perfect upgrade. When worn, this is the perfect young classic: Not too dressy, not too casual, not too boring and certainly not too funny – just stylish and fresh.”
