Floris about this item:

“Imagine that before putting your sandwich in the sandwich maker, you bake it in a poffertjes pan. What you’d get is an amazing bubble sandwich with the stripes of the sandwich iron on it. Brilliant, right!? This leather has seen such a double treatment. First, a large metal punching plate gives it a line structure that runs across the leather. Then we change the printing plate in the machine and apply another print onto the same piece of leather. This creates the croco scales that you can see through the line structure. I’m a big fan of this double treatment, which I call the “Tosti Floris”. The result is (usually) beautiful, smooth leather with a very dynamic look. I always eat my sandwiches with mayonnaise. For these shoes, I’d go for shoe polish though.”
