What size slingbacks should I choose?

You can determine the right size for Floris van Bommel slingbacks using our size guide and sizing advice video. Our women's shoes generally fit true to size. We use the European (EU) shoe sizing system for women's shoes, with full and half sizes from 35 to 42. This provides a highly accurate range of fits. If you usually wear the same size in leather slingbacks from other brands, choose that same size. If you are between two sizes or have wider feet, we recommend choosing the larger size for extra comfort.

Are slingbacks suitable for orthotic insoles?

No, slingbacks are not suitable for orthotic insoles. Other flat Floris van Bommel shoes with removable footbeds are suitable for orthotic insoles. Use our ‘removable footbed’ filter to find all women's shoes that are suitable for orthotic insoles.

How do you care for leather slingbacks?

Before wearing leather slingbacks, we recommend treating them with a water- and dirt-repellent spray such as Carbon Pro by Collonil. Applying this regularly helps prevent dirt and moisture from penetrating the leather, allowing you to enjoy your shoes for longer.

How are Floris van Bommel slingbacks made?

Floris van Bommel slingbacks are produced using the Ago construction method. The upper leather is pulled over the last and secured with adhesive underneath the insole. A small amount of cork is applied underneath the foot to provide optimal support. The pre-finished outsole is then attached to the insole using adhesive.
