The good news is that at Floris van Bommel, we take this into account with many models. What should you look out for?


In addition to a removable footbed, there are two other important factors:

1. Closure A shoe with laces offers more adjustment options. This is certainly pleasant when using an insole. A derby closure generally offers just a little more room and flexibility than a more closed construction.

2. Width Need extra room? Then the last is crucial. Our sneakers are available in width G½ for the average foot and width H for the wider foot. With an insole, you often end up slightly higher in the shoe, so that extra width can make the difference between a good and a perfect fit.
